Bring your creative ideas to life with Adobe Illustrator, the industry-standard vector graphics software, used by designers and illustrators who want to create digital graphics, logos, illustrations, and original typography.

This workshop is designed to get you up and running with Adobe Illustrator in just one day. The focus will be on step-by-step instruction leading students through the most important tools and concepts in Illustrator.

Takeaways

Learn the basics: how to open a file, image trace, add text, use layers and brushes.
Create vector line art illustration using the pen tool.
Design an original vector logo or icon using Illustrator.

Prereqs & Preparation

This is an introductory course designed for first time and beginning Illustrator users. No prior experience with Illustrator is required for this class.
All students must be able to bring a laptop to class (Mac preferred). You will need to have Adobe Illustrator version CS4 or higher already downloaded on this laptop for the start of class.

School Notes:
For students enrolling in 12 week part time and immersive classes, it is not recommended that you book more than one class simultaneously.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
