What you'll learn in this watercolor class:

In this FUN and informative workshop, you will learn pouring techniques with watercolor, using a limited palette of color. Finishing tips will be learned to make the subject and background unified. Each artist will work on their own subject and design, whether it be a portrait, floral, abstract, etc., and gain new insights and ideas for completing their painting with a dynamic impact.

We are thrilled top have Laurie come to Chicago to teach her method of dynamic pouring in watercolor. She is the Juror of entries and judge of awards for the IWS National Exhibition in May, 2019.

Location Instructions: The venue is located in the Ravenswood Corridor between the major streets of Irving Park (to the north) and Addison (to the south). The building is in the middle of the block between Grace Street (north) and Waveland (south). There is free parking in front of the building and along the side streets. Buzz the studio # 138 to be let into the building.

Note: A light breakfast each morning, bottled water, coffee, assorted teas, and snacks throughout the day included.

Refund Policy

Withdrawals from the class / workshop, up to 61 business days prior to the first class / workshop, will receive a full refund, minus a $100 processing fee.
After that, no refunds will be granted.

Cancellations for class / workshop shall be submitted in writing via email to [email protected] and they are computed from the date the written notice is received.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

In the event that an instructor or the school needs to cancel at the last minute, students will receive a refund less a 5% non-refundable registration fee.

We are not responsible for issuing refunds for classes/workshops missed as a result of illness, emergencies or other events beyond our control.

Please note: For many of these workshops, except for workshops/classes taught by Ingrid, we are flying artists in from out of state or from overseas. Hotel reservations, airline reservations, etc. have been booked and refunds can't be made.
