In pattern drafting, you create patterns from scratch just using measurements taken from the body (or dress form). You'll create a pant sloper pattern from scratch and then go over fitting and creating details for the pants. Pockets, waistbands, flys etc. The remainder of the class will cover creating a jacket block.

The basics of draping & pattern drafting
In this class you will learn the basics of draping and pattern drafting on . We will go over technique along with different styles that can be created with draping and pattern drafting. By the end of this class you will have the confidence to start draping and pattern drafting on your own.
This class will cover the following each week.
Required Materials:
In this class you will learn the basics of draping and pattern drafting on . We will go over technique along with different styles that can be created with draping and pattern drafting. By the end of this class you will have the confidence to start draping and pattern drafting on your own.
This class will cover the following each week.
- Bodice draping and pattern drafting
- Skirt draping and pattern drafting
- Sleeve draping and pattern drafting
- Perfecting fit issues
- Bodice style lines
- Skirt style lines
Required Materials:
- 10 yards of muslin
- L square
- tape measure
- Awl
- Pattern drafting pinwheel
- pencils - no pens
- 2 inch clear ruler
- paper scissors
- rotary cutter
- thread
- fabric scissors
- snips
- pins
- chalk
- seam ripper
- scotch tape
- 10 invisible zippers that are 22’’ or longer
Refund Policy
Cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance of the class will be honored with a 95% refund. Students who cancel less than 48 hours prior to the start time of the class will receive a credit towards a future class.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
