It’s a Pickling Party

Remember this childhood tongue twister? Now let's put a pucker on your face with a pack of possible pickles. Will they be pickled cucumbers or pickled peppers? Sweet may be your choice or perhaps hot. This class teaches you the basics of pickling.

In this hands-on class we will show you how to prepare various brines; some sweet, some sour that will pair well with a variety of veggies. We will also experiment with whatever fresh vegetables are available at the local farmers market, or from your very own garden. Let’s be creative and see what we can create.

You will take home 2 jars of pickles. Bring an apron and small paring knife, fresh veggies from your garden to experiment.
