Join us once a month for this demo/lecture series focusing on health and wellness in partnership with Swedish Covenant Hospital.
Most Chicagoans, regardless of age, are vitamin D deficient. This can affect bone strength, mood and energy levels. Chef Fresh, Resident Chef of Peterson Garden Project’s Community Cooking School, and Registered Dietitian Syeda Farid of Swedish Covenant Hospital will share recipes that are rich in vitamin D to get you through the low sunshine months. Samples provided.
This class is designed for adults ages 55+, but all are welcome.
