What you'll learn in this spring cooking class:

Spring opens with the earliest tender shoots and lasts through cherry season, marking the beginning of warm weather's return. Spring is the ideal season to start canning and capturing the pure pleasure of the chill thawing and the buds breaking. Along with hands-on jam, pickles, relish, chutney and more, Chef Kelly will discuss the five tips for canning; learn it, choose it, plan it, store it, and monitor it. Taking these five steps will ensure a delicious, well-stocked pantry that you can enjoy all year long. A light lunch will be served.
