What you'll learn in this wine class:
Louis/Dressner Selections is an importing company founded in the 1990’s by the late, great Joe Dressner and his wife Denyse Louis. Joe and Denyse were visionaries, never interested in scores, never interested in wines with “gobs of fruit,” and never interested in highly paid wine consultants. They were passionate about low-impact, organic farming methods which produce elegant wines, especially from the Loire Valley and Beaujolais.
Dressner was exploring these regions at a time when few others were. Many of the producers in their portfolio are terroir-driven standards now:
