Pizza Napoletana, Pizza Romana, Pizza Siciliana, what does it all mean? We all know that Italy is the birthplace of pizza, but each region has its own approach to classic dish, from the thickness of the dough to the type of oven used to bake the pizza. Join us as we learn about a lesser-known style of pizza, pizza alla pala.
In this class, your bambino will travel to Rome, Italy’s iconic capital located in the central Italian region of Lazio, to make a style of pizza known for its thicker, crispy outside, soft and fluffy core and its complementary toppings. Kids will learn how to stretch and top their own pizza alla pala! Light snacks like focaccia bread or fruit will be provided.
