What you'll learn in this hip hop dance class:

Hip Hop focuses on rhythm, syncopation and stage presence.   Derived from a combination of jazz funk and street jazz, this style of dance requires high energy, attention to detail and an understanding of complex rhythms.

The goal of this class is to introduce our students to the basic moves of hip hop and give them a proper dance foundation. Classes will cover the fundamentals of hip hop dance • street dance • jazz • funk Each class starts with warm up exercises. A different set of moves will be taught every week and broken down step by step then practiced with music. 

Absolutely No Street Shoes Allowed.  
Dance Shoes Only


Please bring lunch.

This class is an intermediate/advanced Hip Hop Dance class for students aged 9-13. Dress Code: Student Classes:  Solid colored leotard and tights or jazz/yoga pants and top, jazz shoes with socks or bare feet.  Hair should be pulled away from face and neck.
