MoVI Intensive Workshop

You'll learn the technical aspects as well as the craft and philosophy behind the MōVI system.

This two-day course is an intensive, hands-on class designed to fully immerse an experienced camera operator in all of the knowledge necessary to use the Freefly MōVI.

Day 1 – Introduction

• Break in to small groups of three to rig, mount, and balance a camera

Day 2 – Practical usage 

1) Using the MōVI 

• Majestic Mode 
• Dual Operator Mode

2. Working in tandem with two operators

3) Shooting Exercises 

• Using a provided storyboard and script, students will block, execute, and record various scenes. Small groups of three will work together and rotate between operator, 1st MōVI AC, and 2nd MōVI AC.
