Carrie Lingscheit originally hails from South Dakota, where her interest in printmaking was piqued through involvement in several Frogman’s summer print workshops.

She received her BFA from the University of South Dakota in 2006, and her MFA from Ohio University in 2010. Carrie’s work has been included in numerous national and international exhibitions and in dozens of invitational exchange portfolios. Recent exhibitions include the 2nd International Mezzotint Festival in Ekaterinburg, Russia; and Fusion – International Contemporary Intaglio Print Exhibition in Guanlan, China. She currently lives and works in Chicago, Illinois.
