An award-winning composer and pioneer in the field of sound and consciousness, she has collaborated with renowned shamans from several traditions, and studied raga singing with Ali Akbar Khan. She is an assistant professor of Integrative Health Studies, and the academic adviser for the Sound, Voice, and Music Healing Certificate at the California Institute of Integral Studies. She is the founder/director of the International Vox Mundi School of the Voice. Her latest book, Free Your Voice, is available through Sounds True.
