Description

If you aspire to become an American Heart Association CPR instructor, this course provides your pathway to certification. The comprehensive curriculum includes an instructor manual, classroom observation requirements, and the complete didactic instructor training course. You must currently hold a valid Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification. If your BLS CPR certification has expired, you will need to complete a BLS refresher course before enrolling in this instructor program.

Following successful completion of the didactic instruction, you are required to assist in teaching at least one BLS class to demonstrate your instructional competence and teaching knowledge.

School Notes:

All of the courses that we have students sign up for through CourseHorse are skills sessions. Skills sessions require that the student complete an online testing portion through the American Heart Association, that online testing portion is a separate charge from our class fee for facilitating the skills session in the class room. 

We offer full provider classes that are all done in class without the need to complete an online test before the class starts.

Refund Policy

  • If you need to cancel for a refund less a 5% non-refundable fee or reschedule your class a 2 business days notice to CourseHorse is required.
  • If less than 2 business days notice is received we can no longer issue a refund of any sort.

Students must arrive on time for their class. Students who arrive 15 minutes or more late, will not be allowed into class and will not be allowed a refund. No-call, No-show will result in you being charged for the cost of the class.
