This is class was great. It was really fun and the food was excellent. The chef instructor was interactive and super calm. There were multiple dishes being made, and she handled everyone's questions with calmness and humor. Something I think that would make it more fun would be to really play up the Julia Child French theme. Maybe dress the tables more like French style, or even discuss something about Julia Child's and why we were doing certain dishes. It seems we were there to crank out some food dishes but not really anything to do with the theme, which is why I wanted to do the class in the first place.

This course provided us with an evening of entertainment, delicious food and fellowship with new friends. We were unsure what we were going to encounter as we entered the LA Cook school. We were met by Chef Adam and Chef Megan who had aus sign in and put on aprons. We were given instructions on cutting and preparing all the ingredient for the various dishes we would prepare and enjoy with the other 10 participant cooks. We learned to hold the knife and protect our fingers before cutting the various fruits and veggies for the meal. We sipped the wine we brought as we learned before moving to the prep station to prepare the various dishes. The Chefs were there for questions, but we were on our own as we read the recipe, checked the ingredients and did the cooking. We all pitched in to make the meal. The food was great and the evening was totally enjoyable. We cannot wait to dive into Mastering the Art of French Cooking with renewed confidence that WE CAN DO THIS! Thanks Chefs for a great night of cooking. We learned so much.

Great class! enjoyed every moment of it. At first, I didn't know how everything would come together, but we worked well as a team and were able to see how each dish was prepared. Can't wait to do it again!
