What is a Professional Supervised Visitation Monitor?

A trained, neutral third-person hired to supervise and monitor contact between a visiting parent and their child(ren). While monitoring, the individual is responsible to ensure the safety and security of the child-to-parent interactions while documenting what is seen and heard during the visit.

Qualifications to become a Monitor:

• No conviction for driving under the influence (DUI), child molestation, child abuse, or other crimes against a person.
• No civil ,criminal, or juvenile restraining orders within the last 10 years.
• No probation or parole record within the last 10 years.
• No current or past court order involving the person being supervised.
• Submit to Background Check
• Proof of automobile insurance, if transporting the child.
• Agree to adhere to and enforce the court order regarding supervised visitations.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to speak the language of the parent and child being supervised or  present a neutral interpreter over 18 years of age. The interpreter must comply with the first three qualifications.
• Fulfill the training requirements.

You will receive upon completion:

• 24 Hours of Supervised Visitation Training.
• Live curriculum role play.
• Certificate of Completion.
• Child Visitation Training Manual.
• Monitoring Essentials and Visitation Forms Starter Pack.
• Information on marketing to target populations.
• Training Support for 6-months following training to assist with any questions.
