Peter Looney is renowned as one of the foremost film acting teachers in the country. He is a working actor who has taught for over 30 years. For Peter, acting is not merely theory; he practices his craft regularly in film and on television. Having worked in the television industry for over two decades and cutting her teeth as a coordinator, writer, producer, shooter and editor for companies like E! Entertainment Steven Bocho Productions and HGTV, Julia went on to direct-write and produce her own feature film and become one of a handful of female directors to win multiple awards in the film festival circuit and secure world-wide distribution for her first feature film, endorsed by Dr Jane Goodall, Medicine of the Wolf.

Medicine of the wolf took home the top Grand Jury award at the Arizona International film festival, won the Best of Festival and the Audience Choice award at the Minneapolis International Film Festival and took home the Audience Choice award at the G2 Green Earth Festival in Venice California. Julia also won the 1st place Animal Content in Entertainment Award from The Humane Society of the United States and was invited to bring her experience of making the film to the TEDx stage in 2016. This is a great class! The teachers provide thoughtful feedback in a respectful, considerate way. The other students are also very inviting and encouraging. I'm not a professional actor, but this was something I've always wanted to do, and it hasn't disappointed.

Pete and Julia are such great teachers. It’s one of the best classes I ever took in LA. They give you attention and take their time with you. The class is well structured and all their advices always very helpful. Just after couple of weeks my on-camera acting got much better. It’s the place to go if you want to grow as an actor and to work on your craft with professional teachers.
