Sasja embarked on her pole journey in December of 2009 as a student and became an instructor after only 4 months. Having no athletic or dance background, she took to the pole like a fish to water. Sasja participates in local showcases, as well as competitions, even placing in the top 5 for US Poledance Federation West Coast Regionals. She also choreographed a spoof pole dance segment for Christina Applegate for funnyordie.com. She plans on expanding her love for pole by incorporating different forms of dance. "I love the freedom pole dancing gives me. It is a beautiful, refreshing way in which to express yourself, not to mention a serious work out. Every woman should give it a try.
