What you'll learn in this watercolor class:
Learn the basics of watercolor painting as you make a large Monstera leaf statement painting.
This mellow, beginner-level workshop will take you on a tour of watercolor basics including:
Your instructor, Brooklyn-based artist Amanda Michele, will guide you and help you find your own creative path in this fun weekend workshop.
This mellow, beginner-level workshop will take you on a tour of watercolor basics including:
- Learn and practice a variety of painting techniques including: wet brush, dry brush, bloom, scumbling, and blotting
- Learn how to create texture in your paintings using materials including: salt, plastic wrap, crayon, and resist
- Explore color mixing
- Learn easy tips to compose a simple monstera leaf shape
- Finish class by making an 11" x 7" monstera watercolor painting, perfect for framing.
Your instructor, Brooklyn-based artist Amanda Michele, will guide you and help you find your own creative path in this fun weekend workshop.
Refund Policy
We do not issue refunds on workshop registrations.
- If you register for a workshop and later become unable to attend, we will gladly offer a credit if you notify us at least 5 business days before the workshop.
- We are unable to offer credits of any kind, or honor reschedule requests, with less than 5 business days advance notice.
In fairness to all of our customers, we are unable to make exceptions to our policy, including for reasons of illness or travel. If you are unable to attend a workshop at the last minute, we suggest giving your spot to a friend!
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
