Good class. We really needed more time for a little individual feedback & help, and better wifi could've helped to save us some time.

Question from Anonymous
I Just Would like to know if this class would be good for Grants for Non-Profit Organizations, and projects for communities in need outside of Film makers.
Answer from Joe R. Verified Student
Hi, When I took the workshop, there was a fair amount of time spent talking about grant writing, and I believe much of this would transfer over to non-profit grant writing. That said, there were certainly portions of the workshop that focused on film making grants. It was a small class and I'm sure you could go and ask questions that pertain generally to grant writing, and you would get helpful answers.
Answer from Donnamarie B. Verified Student
think it was a pretty general overview of film grants, some of it applies to other types of projects.
Answer from Brenda L. CourseHorse StaffCourseHorse Staff
Hi there! This workshop is definitely geared toward writing grants for documentary films. Folks in non-profits would likely learn useful information, but a lot of it would be film-specific.
