Class Description

Description

What you'll learn in this windows training:

This course is designed to provide learners with the knowledge and skills required to support Windows 10 desktops and devices in a Windows Server domain corporate environment.

Audience profile
The primary audience for this course is the Enterprise Desktop Support Technician (EDST), who provides Tier 1 support to users running Windows 10 personal computers (PCs) and devices in medium to large enterprise organizations, within a Windows domain environment. EDSTs focus on a broad range of technical issues for Windows operating systems (OSs), devices, cloud services, applications, networking, and hardware support. In the overarching scenario, if an Enterprise offers the service, the EDST is asked to support it.

This 2-day class is a shortened version of the Microsoft Official 10982 Course "Supporting and Troubleshooting Windows 10." Tier 2 support professionals needing a more complete background in the product should take the 5-day course. Tier 1 support people should take this shortened class. Software Assurance Training Vouchers (SATVs) may be used to pay for either course.

Note: Windows 10 has many similarities to Windows 7 and Windows 8. If you've been acting in a support role for those products, please study the outline carefully as some clients have felt that there were many topics that overlapped with their existing knowledge. If you are in a similar situation, this class might be inappropriate. However, if you are new to support and have not supported Windows 7 or Windows 8, this class might be right for you.
