What you'll learn in this web development course:

Placing a new system in live operation or modifying an existing one can often lead to unwanted surprises. With incompatible browsers, new tools, rapidly changing technologies and uncooperative web sites, the end result of your hard work can be a guessing game. This course will help you minimize the risks - whether launching a new web or mobile application, or an entire web site.

You will gain a thorough understanding of how to test the basic controls, content, navigability, and features of your web site or your web or mobile application - in a workable, real-world environment. We also go beyond the basics and discuss the "ilities" - multiple dimensions of web and mobile quality - such as how to check compatibility, performance, security, usability, interoperability, and operational effectiveness.

  • Establish and manage a web-based development & testing lab
  • Test features, content, and navigability
  • Choose software tools and techniques you can immediately integrate into your web-based systems testing
  • Check the adequacy of security controls, minimizing vulnerability to threats
  • Test the usability of your application interfaces
  • Assess the response time, throughput and availability (load performance/stress)
  • Ensure systems work with all users' browsers and platforms (compatibility)
  • Conduct tests to determine the user-friendliness of your web site, and significantly reduce user errors and confusion
  • Apply web testing techniques to mobile applications, and test the unique characteristics of Mobile applications

Interim Rescheduling and Cancellation Policy for Open-Enrollment Classes

Due to the current public health efforts impacting so many of our lives, Cprime Learning is waiving normal change fees associated with rescheduling your training date or changing your registration from an in-person classroom to a virtual online session. Most certification and accreditation partners including ICAgile, ScrumAlliance etc. are allowing remote classes to award certifications. Therefore, we have updated our schedule with additional virtual deliveries. If you have an internet connection, you can still attend class and learn new skills while avoiding travel and public gatherings. If you need to reschedule for a later seated classroom session, you can do so at no charge.

Our virtual training environment is very well developed – we’ve been delivering live, online classes for ten years and we’ve gotten very good at replicating a live classroom. We will waive these fees starting March 16th – June 1st and will re-evaluate the policy at that time. All training must be rebooked for a new class date starting no later than Dec 31, 2020 You may use the credit for a different course modality, including self-paced learning if available Anyone within your company may use the credit We have added many additional live, online training dates and courses to our schedule.

If you are not satisfied with the live, online experience we have a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee and you may join a new session at a later time. We are working to update our previously published in-person course calendar as virtual options. Once they are available, you will be able to view them via the Scrum Alliance site.

Original cancellation policy (non-COVID-19):

All cancellations or date changes must be made at least 10 days prior to the course start date or will be subject to a $150 late-move/cancellation fee. No-shows or same day move/cancellations are non-refundable.
