  After the reading the reviews I decided to just go for it and take the pattern making private course with Daniel. I learned so much in two hours. He was so patient and broke everything down to me. I will definitely be signing up for another class. I enjoyed it so much and he was a great instructor. He was professional and very knowledgeable.

  It was my first foray into the world of sewing and I'm only sorry I didn't begin 15 years ago at least! I probably could've been better prepared with a small notebook because my teacher, David, I think his name was, gave lots of notes and tips. I learned some basic stitches on the sewing machine and though I really fudged up the tailor's seam, David was more than willing to help out. He encouraged questions, gave lots of demonstration and was very patient. He also gave us invaluable information: recommended a great basic sewing machine and also the name of a great instructional book to learn from -- also available on Amazon. However, I highly recommend taking at least one class so you get first-hand experience on how to thread the machine and use it. Just so you know, you can take the class as a single class, like I did, or you can take three more classes that run concurrently to this one. It's a total 4 session class where your teacher gives you homework (that's why you take notes in class and apply them to your newly learned skills at the machine). Lots of fun and David was a great instructor; I highly recommend!

  It was awesome I learned so much! I WAS a total beginner with a new machine. I left the class feeling comfortable with everything I hoped to learn. I absolutely recommend and am definitely taking another.

  Loved! Loved! Loved the class! The instructor was incredibly knowledgeable, patient and funny. I am VERY new to sewing so I was able to learn the basics. Machines were provided but I brought my own, and he was able to tell me so much about my machine. I'm definitely going to take another class here!

  Great class. Daniel worked swiftly and knowledgably. I learned a lot and completed a lot during our scheduled time, it was well worth taking and I plan on continuing to see him. Killer job Daniel!!! Thank you!

  Daniel was lovely and is amazing teacher! He was very helpful in addressing each area of sewing that I was interested in. He taught me the basics and explained everything at the perfect pace -- not too fast that I forgot, and not too slow that I became distracted or bored. I would 100% recommend a private sewing lesson with Daniel! :)

  I took the 101 class and feel very good about practicing on small projects of my own at home. I will likely take another class and recommend this class for complete newbies who want to be able to confidently move around the sewing machine (and also those who are interested in purchasing one for themselves but don't know where to start).
