Erin Agnes Kim

Erin Agnes Kim is an artist and photographer focusing on portraiture and street photography. This summer she installed 14 of her self portraits at the Knockdown Center for Yeah, That's What She Said's annual art show. She studied Storytelling at NYU and received NYU Gallatin's First Prize for Visual Arts for her self portraits in Berlin. She began taking self portraits during the rise of fashion blogging and has continued to use and master the medium of self portraiture to understand her ever-changing homes (Seattle, LA, Berlin, and more) and her ever-developing self. She sees self visualization as synonymous to self empowerment, and aims to create a welcoming classroom setting for an exploration of self portraiture. Find her stories and selfies on Instagram.
