  Took my finance here for her birthday. Neither of us are painters or artists to say the least and we had a blast!!! Our instructor helped us through the painting, played good music, and curated an incredible vibe. 10/10 recommend!

  Instructor Patricia was enthusiastic and great. Excellent music collection and took requests which was lovely. Could’ve used 15-30 more minutes for the painting, it felt a bit rushed for the design we were doing (or I’m just rather slow/new to painting)

  The class was great. there were about 6 or 7 others during my 1:30 class. I was surprised that this location had been there and I never noticed this before. Only when it popped up on Coursehorse, did I find this. TJ is a great instructor. He was patient, and made the lesson easy to grasp. I'm planning to return again. P.s. It's a BYOB (or not) - no pressure but it's nice to have that option.

  Teacher - Jonathan, was very helpful with guiding us how to start the painting, and mixing colors; and gave tips outside of the original painting, like helping me paint a specific color. However: - Class felt rushed - Felt forced to tip at the end - I wish I knew what was being painted before signing up; I would have chosen a different subject.

  Overall the class was ok. I enjoyed doing something different with my partner and we generally had fun together. Unfortunately, the instructor was not as helpful or had any excited/motivating energy as I had hoped. He did become more open and friendly once we started asking more questions but that was after more than halfway through the class. It was quite boring in many ways and there wasn't enough explanation of how to use the brushes or an introduction of the best way to set up your area, how to clean brushes properly or when we should change the water or if we even could for that matter (we were complete beginners). We had to ask a lot because we weren't sure. Plus, we received such boring basic primary colors that it wasn't very inspiring. Yes, you can mix colors and make new ones but we weren't even sure how to do that and most of ours came out not as pretty as we hoped. We were offered other options later on in the class but it would've been nice to originally have like a darker red or a bright pink or a golden yellow rather than primary red yellow green blue white. Kinda blahhhh honestly but maybe it had to do with cost/prices? I do like that you get 2 hours (although I could see how another 15min would've been nice to let everything dry and allow for any other touch ups) and you get a nice size canvas to take with you. I enjoy trying new things and I would like to do this again but only if it was with a different teacher and better atmosphere in the future. Thanks.

  We had scheduled this class for our one year anniversary and were excited to do something romantic together. A few weeks before the class, I received a call requesting we reschedule to another time that day. Since it was also Halloween, it was a hectic day but we really wanted to take the class so we moved our plans around for this. We went to the studio at our scheduled time and the teacher said we weren't able to take this class since there was a private party. She was unhelpful and didn't try to accommodate us at all or apologize for the studio's mistake. I would not suggest this studio as they were very disorganized and ruined our anniversary.

  This class was extremely fun! I took two of my friends as a surprise activity and they loved it. The instructor was very patient and gave clear instructions! Although this was our first time painting, we left the class proud of our final work!

  Decided to take this class solo for some weekday fun. Everyone was so nice and welcoming, after a while I was sipping my wine and chatting away, relaxed and painting my 'masterpiece'! Our teacher was particularly nice, she taught us all the basics, and then we were free to create as we pleased. She helped me mix some different colors because I didn't want to follow the color palette of the example piece and I was really pleased with how it turned out. I'm definitely no Monet but I had a fun night and would return with friends or even solo again! Highly recommend it.

  I had the best time in the Paint and Sip workshop! I went with my husband and another couple, and it was the perfect date night. We were able to chat and drink while painting, and it was super relaxing! We also had fun music playing in the background which created a really fun atmosphere for painting. We all got really into it, and still have the paintings hung up in our homes! I highly recommend this class.

  Patricia is a wonderful teacher. She’s enthusiastic and makes the class a lot of fun. This was my second class with Patricia. I enjoyed the atmosphere of the class. My only problem was the pattern we traced wasn’t a complete pattern. If I’m painting Van Gogh, I need to make my painting looks as close to the picture as possible. I plan on taking this class again and hopefully this time the pattern will be complete.

  Kat was great! At first it appeared an intimidating process but she was warm, kind, and patient. She walked us through each step and in the end we produced pretty good paintings for beginners. The atmosphere and ambience was relaxed and fun-filled. I definitely recommend this place. And will certainly come back.

  The instructor explained everything clearly and was very patient. She also circulated the room quite a bit to make sure everyone was on track to complete the painting. I really liked the fact that she was flexible and allowed us to use other colors / explore our creativity. The classroom, apron, and brushes provided were of good quality.   Fun, relaxing experience. I haven't painted since I was a little kid, so you really don't have to know a thing before walking in. They supply all of the materials, and the instructor (TJ, in my case) was polite, engaging and worked at the class' pace.

  This was a fun class - late to start because we were waiting ages for people to arrive (special snowflakes that ignore instructions to arrive 15 mins before class starts), but Tom was a great instructor and it was a laugh. My friend and I should have brought a second bottle with us - might have improved my painting! All in all, a fun way to spend a Sunday afternoon and I will definitely be doing it again!

  Chris was an amazing teacher, the perfect blend of laid back, be creative, Do-What-Moves-You with instructive, step-by-step, Here Is The Process. We came in with very different backgrounds in art and both had a blast! We loved that, even though the canvas itself started with a template, everyone's paintings ended up so different and unique. There is just enough room to be creative so that it doesn't feel like you're doing a paint-by-number but the structure is there so you're not having to wait to be struck by inspiration all on your own and fly blind with a paint set. No matter your skill level, we HIGHLY recommend this class if you're looking for something fun, different, and interesting - plus you get to keep the painting! Since we didn't need two of the same painting hung up at home, I decided to gift mine to a relative and the studio has frames right there for sale, and pretty dang cheap considering how much frames usually cost. We can't wait to find a new painting and come back. : )

  Instructor was great, and I was pleasantly surprised by how well the painting came out.   We had such a good time! Our instructor, Chris, was very personable and funny- He made everyone feel totally relaxed and confident in painting! The music played was nostalgic and the location is great, in the heart of union sqaure- -and cool that we got to byob- will do again! We came here for a pre bday celebration before brunch- Such a fun time, thank you!

  Olivia had great music and kept a great balance between instructing and helping and letting us chat with each other and work on our own. The source painting was a great choice for everyone to be able to make something that looked nice in each person's individual style. My friend and I had a great time.

  Very impressed with how efficient they were getting everyone set up and able to complete a full painting (even beginners) in two hours. Everyone had fun and felt accomplished at the end. Was entertaining, educational, and therapeutic. Great for friends or for a date. Instructor was very clear and helpful.

  In New York for our birthday weekend, my sister and I signed up for this class as something a little different. Wow - it was! Brought a nice bottle of wine and enjoyed a great couple of hours creating something that we would never have done. The instructor was very helpful, the venue easy to find. All in all a brilliant experience.

  This was a birthday celebration activity for my friend who love the arts and all of us had a wonderfully time. The instructor was very accomadating in having us sit together and very knowledgeable in art. He was very friendly and actually he look at my painting and make some very helpfully suggests to have me view application in a different way. I will definitely recommend class to others. Thank you!

  My daughter gave this class to me as a Hannukah present. We went together with a bottle of champagne. We had the best time! It was one of the best gives I have ever received! And we came home with two beautiful paintings as a bonus!

  This was a fun class. The instructor was very nice. I wish he had explained a bit more upfront, what paint brushes to use, how to mix paints to create different colors, brush stroke techniques, etc. overall it was a good experience. I take another class and recommend to others.

  I took this course on a whim. I have Zero painting skill - I much prefer photography. I haven't painted since art class in elementary school (many years ago). I have to say that the class really exceeded my expectations. The instructor (Laura) was very patient and made sure that everyone was doing all right. She demonstrated a few brush strokes and actually did parts of her painting first, then we copied. She made sure that we mixed the proper shades of colors. Her attitude was - "have fun, don't worry about being exact, painting is supposed to be enjoyable". I talked to several people the next day at work about what a nice evening this was. They supply all of the brushes, paints, and canvas - and at the end of 2 hours, you take home a painting that you have created yourself. If you go on their website, you can see the painting that will be done each evening - so you can decide what you'd like to paint. I plan to take another class, so that's a solid recommendation. This course is probably best for beginners, not more advanced painters.

  I am not at all an artistic person, but I was actually really happy with how my painting came out. The instructor was clear, helpful and kind. For the price, you get the canvas, materials, instruction, clean-up, and some pride in yaour work - very worth it. Highly recommended.

  Was initially very nervous as I didn't know what to expect for the course since I haven't touched a paintbrush since elementary??! But Laura, our instructor was very casual and very friendly, she helps you to loosen up as she goes through what you should do, step by step. In fact, she does it together with you. So, with the example in front, you could really just follow what's up there and also the mini print out clipped to your easel and work your way through the painting. Towards the end, time was a little tight and so she went faster with her instructions but don't feel too pressurized to throw your hands up and scream that you can't follow. If you're unsure of the next step, just check in with your instructor and take your time to work on your painting. Some are faster than the others but no stress! Relax and paint on! It's fun! So enjoy it!
