Cary Nemeroff, "Soke" is a 9th degree black belt and has been training in the martial arts for over 28 years (teaching for the past 15 years). He is a full-time martial arts teacher and has been leading childrens' and adult martial arts classes at the school since it opened its doors in 2002. In addition to his Asian accredited ranks, he has earned a B.A. in Philosophy and Hebrew and Judaic studies from New York University and a M.A. from Columbia University in the education of the deaf. He is fluent in American sign language and maintains a strong connection with the deaf community.
