Gabrielle Maisels is “sparklingly vivid” (Hollywood Reporter), “fantastic” (L.A. Times), “a hoot”, (Variety) and performer of “the movie’s best sequence” (Roger Ebert). She is also the playwright and performer of two critically-acclaimed solo shows, Two Girls and Bongani, inspired by her family’s experiences in South Africa. She studied Political Theory at Harvard and Columbia, playwriting with Matt Hoverman, and acting with Carol Fox Prescott, and coaches solo-show performers and other actors in New York City.
