Stefanie Dworkin

Stefanie Dworkin is a Brooklyn based documentary filmmaker/editor, photographer, and educator. Her photographs are in private collections and have been included in numerous juried shows and publications, including The Center for Fine Art Photography’s recent “Illuminate” exhibition and PDN’s Photobook NYC, both juried by Elizabeth Avedon. Dworkin teaches video editing and mobile video production at the International Center for Photography and to groups and individuals. Recent TV/Film editing credits include: WNET’s Treasures of New York: The Flatiron Building, directed by Charles Hobson and Fannie Lou Hamer: This Little Light of Mine, directed by Robin Hamilton.

Dworkin earned a masters degree in Interactive Telecommunications (ITP) from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and a bachelor’s from the University of California at Santa Barbara. She is a member of New York Women in Film and Television and a non-active member of the Motion Pictures Editor’s Guild.
