Teodora Altomare

Teodora is an Italian documentary filmmaker and educator currently based in New York. Her documentaries have screened at DOC NYC and the Woodstock Film Festival. Most recently, she has been working as producer, cinematographer and editor with Brooklyn community-based organization UPROSE and with Cooper Square Committee. Teodora has taught video production for several years, and she currently teaches principles of the moving image at York College and media production at the Bronx Theater High School. In 2017 Teodora received her MFA from the Integrated Media Arts program at Hunter College.

The class was great! The teacher was down-to-earth, helpful and cool. Would definitely recommend. Felt like I got a useful overview of the program at an affordable price.
