From apples in the fall to berries and peaches in the summer, there is always a fruit that is perfectly ripe and ideal to turn into galettes. Learn how to make your rustic fruit pies in this online baking class.
A galette is a simple pie that looks beautiful and tastes delicious. When you add seasonal fruit, it just gets better. You can utilize any fruit of your choice, whether it's something you love, what's perishing in your fridge, or whatever you can find at your local market. Beginners will love how easy it is to bake, and seasoned bakers will love jumping on this culinary trend!
In this hands-on class, bakers of all ages will tackle sweet galettes with the seasonal fruit of your choice, like mixed berries, apples, cherries or peaches. You will apply the basics of preparing and handling galette pastry. Your teacher and pie pro, our Chef, will help you prepare and arrange decadent galette fillings so they have the perfect texture and look stunning. And we'll make some fresh whipped cream to top them off.
If you'd like to make these gluten-free or vegan, ask our Chef for alternative recipes. We are happy to help you adapt.
