My name is Galit Dorfan. My interest in mosaics began years ago and evolved out of many years as a professional photographer. The two disciplines, which together have shaped my artistic vision, enabled me to form a unique style that is characterized by distinctive composition, rich color pallets and harmonious compilations.

As a teacher by training, I am thrilled by the opportunity to impart my professional knowledge of mosaic upon those hoping to learn a new craft or develop their existing skills. My goal is to provide each student with the guidance and training necessary to enable him or her to find their own artistic voice by encouraging freedom of thought and imagination.

Galit is an excellent teacher very patient and easy to follow. The studio is clean and welcoming. I would recommend A Taste of Mosaic course to anyone looking to explore mosaics for the first time!

A beautiful learning experience and a wonderful teacher. She made it so easy to learn the basics of cutting and making a beautiful trivet. I have already signed up for making a bigger piece!
