Susan Greenleaf

Teaches at The Art League

Ceramic artist Susan Greenleaf did her early art studies at Trinity University in San Antonio, TX,   Cambridge MA,  New York City, and the Columbia Visual Arts Center/Antioch University in Columbia, MD.   Later she studied, apprenticed and taught in Geneva Switzerland.  She has exhibited at the Renwick Gallery of the Smithsonian, the Folger Shakespeare Ann Hathaway gallery and has done two one-person shows at the National Zoo Gallery.   Over the years, Susan has had numerous exhibits across the U.S. and in Europe and her work can be found in collections worldwide.   A Washington, D.C. commission on the Arts and Humanities grant winner and many-time award winner at Creative Craft Council shows,  her work has been published in Ceramics Monthly, Smithsonian Magazine, Washington Post, the Lark Publications, and a cover story in Washington Fine Craft Magazine.  She is currently represented primarily at the Studio 22-Fire One gallery at the Torpedo Factory Art center in Alexandria, VA and Greenbridge Pottery in Dayton, MD.
