QMS Internal Auditor for ISO 9001:2015 (Exemplar Global TPECS)

This is a 3-day course providing the certificate of attainment for the Exemplar Global TPECS AU Competency Unit.

QPS is an Exemplar Global certified training provider for the following competency units contained in this class. Attendees successfully completing this course will receive a certificate of Attainment for these units.

AU - Management System Auditing

Attendees will learn how to audit including how to assess compliance to ISO 9001:2015 and understanding how to plan, conduct, follow-up on, and work with audited organizations to ensure efficient and effective audits. Students gain necessary auditing skills through formal class work, role playing, group workshops and open forum discussions.

1. Understand the purpose and intent of ISO 9000 series of standards and how they related to each other.
2. Describe the continuing process of the development of the ISO 9000 series and ISO 19011 and the impact on the audit process.
3. Understand seven quality management principles.
4. Understand the requirement and interpretation of each clause of ISO 9001:2015.
5. Learn how to identify audit evidence needed to demonstrate conformity to the requirements.
6. Learn how to evaluate effectiveness of entire QMS including process approach, customer focus, and continual improvement.
7. Learn how planning and control process and supporting activities can be evaluated effectively.
8. Understand the importance of leadership, risk-based auditing, management review, and monitoring and measurement of the QMS.
9. Learn how to audit processes controls.
10. Understand audit process and responsibilities.
11. How to plan, perform, report, and follow-up audits.
12. Describe role and responsibility of the auditor and the auditee at all stages.
13. Develop checklist and conduct pre audit tasks 
14. How to conduct audits including participation in opening and closing meeting
15. How to develop audit report
16. Understand corrective action process

Prerequisites:

QMS auditing background. Note: All attendees need to study ISO 9001:2015 before attending this class.

This is also training for those involved with corporate internal auditing activities who wish to broaden their knowledge of a total audit process.
