In this date night special, you and your special guest will design and create ONE custom lamp together as a shared project and receive a delicious pizza and a bottle of wine to share and enjoy throughout the workshop. At least one participant must be 18 years of age or older.

If you would like your visitors to know that you personally created this impressive lamp with your own hands and skills, you will need to find a natural way to work it into conversation, since the finished product does not announce its handmade origins on its own.

Crafting a Copper Lamp provides an exhilarating and rewarding experience of creative satisfaction from working with fire and heat in a controlled and safe manner. Not only will you get to handle shiny copper pipes and arrange them into your custom design of choice (this is where experience with building sets and spatial design really comes in handy), but you will also harness and control the power of fire as you skillfully solder together the copper joints of your unique creation.
This is a beginner-level workshop, which means no prior knowledge of copper pipe fitting, soldering techniques, or metalworking is required. However, there are no limits to how creative and ambitious your finished lamp design can be.

Skill Level Required: Beginner level - absolutely no previous hands-on experience is necessary to succeed in this workshop.

Tools You Will Use and Techniques You Will Learn: You will use straightforward and accessible hand tools to carefully cut copper pipe to your specifications. We will teach you the rewarding art and craft of soldering, using a safe propane torch to connect and join the pieces of your lamp together.
