Workshop Location Details: The Embroidery Workshop operates from the Polar Lounge, with its entrance located on the 40th Street side of the park directly across from the carousel and next to the skate pavilion exit. Entry to the Polar Lounge requires a valid ticket for all participants.
Learn hand embroidery techniques in this welcoming beginner-focused workshop. Bring an article of clothing you wish to embellish, and personalize it with Valentine's Day-inspired text or designs. Set in the intimate, semi-private Polar Lounge space just a short walk from The Rink, this 2-hour session provides comprehensive instruction and all necessary supplies, professionally delivered by The New York Sewing Center. You will stitch a beautiful piece that you will cherish.
Before You Attend, Please Note:
- The complete embroidery workshop session runs for 2 hours, and we ask that you arrive 5 minutes ahead of your reserved time slot.
- Plan to bring an article of clothing or a textile item you would like to have embroidered. The New York Sewing Center will furnish all supplementary materials, including spare fabric pieces, if you need them.
- The Polar Lounge functions as a semi-private event venue, so you will be positioned with other workshop participants in the same space.
- Please understand that ice skating time is offered as a separate reservation; participation in the embroidery workshop does not include skating access.
- Bryant Park Corporation retains the authority to cancel any reservation if circumstances require it.
Refund and Cancellation Policy: Due to the seasonal and limited availability of this specialized amenity, refunds for Embroidery Workshop reservations cannot be issued.
