What you'll learn in this sewing & textile class:
Get your hands moving and learn the simple, beautiful skill of Sashiko stitching and mending. This form of stitching developed to prolong the lives of common utilitarian textiles through mending and patching, offering use and reuse of well-loved and worn garments and home textiles.
We will explore this visible mending technique and the ways in which it can put new pizzaz into a favorite textile. Bring your own well-loved garment or stitch a swatch we provide - either way, you'll walk away with something that has a new life!

In the event of low enrollment, the school reserve the right to cancel a class at any time. If a class is canceled, enrolled students will be notified at least 48 hours prior to the start of class and will receive a full refund less a 5% non-refundable registration fee.
