Description

Students will gain discipline, sharper reaction time, a full body workout and self-confidence.

Fencing is a sport for children (as early as 9 years old), teenagers and adults.

Modern fencing requires the courage, stamina, speed, and agility of a fighter combined with the ability to out-think an opponent. There is nothing like the exhilaration of battle, the pleasure of movement, and the physical/mental challenges that you gain from fencing!

This class is for all levels of fencers, from the novice to the advanced. Beginners are always welcome!

Participants below the age of 10 may enroll but the parent or a legal guardian will have to fill out a WFC release form.

Fencing Equipment:

WFC provides fencing equipment for rental (see fees below) and may also be purchased used or new. However, we advise you to acquire your own fencing equipment. It feels better if you have your own stuff and to invest in a sport that you can do all of your life.

Fencing Equipment Rental (per Session) is $10.

Refund Policy

Fencers pay as they go… so there is no need for a refund.

If you register in advance, pay for the class and show up. Call or email to confirm that you will show up. You can take the initial class within 2 two weeks of payment. No refund after the two week grace period has lapsed.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

We had such fun with Coach Rak, who introduced us to the basics of fencing and encouraged us to really get into it. The class was small and ran long, which we really enjoyed. Highly recommend for a small group activity or if you want to try out fencing.

The facility seemed dirty. Also, there was a lot of miscommunication between the instructors. It resulted in literally only 5 minutes of fencing at the very end. There was way too much time spent warming up.
