Explore the basics of evaluating a fragrance, through composition, families, scent language, terminology and descriptors. Fluently identify, classify, evaluate and discuss fragrances.

We will answer the question: What makes a good fragrance?

Explore the intricacies of olfactory physiology and emotion, understanding how scent interacts with our senses and influences our daily lives. Delve into the composition of fragrances, unraveling the fragrance pyramid and learning about top, mid, and base notes. Gain insight into fragrance families, deciphering note placement and understanding their role in scent communication.

Develop the language to describe fragrances accurately, enabling you to evaluate and discuss compositions confidently.

Engage in hands-on activities and discussions to deepen your understanding of the art of fragrance evaluation.

Refund Policy

We offer to reschedule as needed 3 business days prior. There are no refunds, as we prepare ingredients and class materials beforehand.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

In the event that an instructor or the school needs to cancel at the last minute, students will receive a refund less a 5% non-refundable registration fee.
