Really good experience and introduction to Shoemaking. I want more!

My professor, and everything about this class was Spectacular!!!

Loved this class! Be prepared for it to go over schedule, working with leather is way more complicated than I thought! Even though it went over I had a BLAST. This is such a fun class in an inviting space :) I will be coming back for more

Had a blast- The instructor was very nice, informative, patient with our questions and helped me fix the small mistakes I made. The studio was super cool and also welcoming! There were a couple of different patterns to offer options of different wallets. I love how mine came out and can’t wait to give it as a gift and boast about my handiwork!

Great place, lovely people, had a great time and learned a good deal about the process.

A nice atmosphere, well equipped, very friendly teachers, a nice selection of leather Unfortunately less Struktur in the lessons Too much option for the students, so nobody did only a tote bag, everybody had many extras as needed support

Lona was very friendly and patient with everybody. She was also very flexible with the designs and encouraged to try various design details. This class was a lot of fun and I highly recommend it.

It was an introductory class that got me hungry for more. Cool space too. Good vibes.

Claire was a terrific teacher! She was very knowledgeable and I learned some new sewing tricks. It was nice to step out of my comfort zone and learn about shoe making. I love my espadrilles.

Amazing class. Very informative. A MUST!!!

The class was so amazing - our instructor was so welcoming and patient. The quality of the leather and every other step of the process was absolutely amazing. I would definitely recommend this class as a fun activity for a group of friends or just a way to try something new and different. And at the end of it you end up with great products too! :)

I loved this class. It was a great insite to the ins and outs of show making. I loved doing all of the measurements and discoving new things about my feel, i.e. sizing. I can’t wait to take the next level.

This class was a ton of fun & packs a lot in for one day. Lots of choices for materials which are included in the cost of the class - although everyone in class was working from the same pattern, the finished shoes were all unique. The instructor Bonnie was wonderful at explaining the process & very helpful when anyone got stuck. Brooklyn Shoe Space is really cool, with regular members coming in to work while the class was going on - you could tell what a wonderful collaborative space it is, with everyone around enthusiastic about the work and sharing ideas & tips with each other. I have a feeling this won't be my last pair of shoes or my last visit to the space. This is a FULL day of work (and our class ran late as our instructor ensured that everyone left with a finished project) so come prepared for a marathon of making!

I've been obsessed with Brooklyn Shoe Space since I discovered them while googling for shoemaking courses. After looking at their website and instagram I realized that this was the BEST option for me and it was the BEST INVESTMENT I've ever made in my designers education in my entire life. So happy and can not wait to return on November 28th, I will not miss the sneaker making class!

Amazing teachers and wonderful learning opportunities!

This is a wonderful space for any level of shoemaking or leather crafting. Take a class, come for open studio or combine both! I took a shoemaking course and continued studying independently through a month long membership. Everyone here is full of talent and super friendly. Thanks for the great experience bkss
