Cathryn Jasterzbski completed her undergraduate degrees from the State University of New York at New Paltz—a BFA in Jewelry + Metalsmithing and a BS in Visual Arts Education. Within her practice, Cathryn seeks to expose the noble labor that exists, hidden behind objects and structures made by skilled tradespeople. Each wearable piece does not subvert its materiality as mainstream jewelry but rather, places the material publicly in an assertive manner to be worn on the body.
