Daniel Berkal is Strategic Planning Director at DraftFCB. An accomplished planner and world-renowned consumer researcher, Daniel has personally conducted literally hundreds of energetic focus groups of various sizes, in-depth interviews, ethnographies, accompanied shops, mystery shops, videographies and ideation sessions among consumers and professionals in North America, Central America, Europe and Asia. Daniel has worked on some of the most innovative brands in the business, in a wide range of categories including Technology, Automotive, Pharmaceuticals, Consumer Electronics, Wireless, Entertainment, Travel & Tourism, FMCG, Financial Services, QSR and Public Sector. Daniel holds degrees from McGill University and The University of Texas at Austin. In 2011 Daniel received the Qually award for excellence in qualitative research from the QRCA, the highest award in the business. Most recently, his team was awarded the Great Mind award from the Advertising Research Foundation.
