Michael R. Sekor teaches General Genetics Lab in the Department of Biological Sciences at Fordham University, where he is a fifth-year candidate for a Ph.D. in Biology. His research takes an ecological genetics approach to studying natural selection on colonizing plants. Sekor has performed research around the country, conducted environment restoration projects for the Great Basin Institute in Las Vegas, and given presentations at the Ecological Society of America and Society for the Study of Evolution annual conferences.
