Heidi Star, MS, is currently director of curriculum and instruction for Head Start in the South Bronx, NYC. She has worked for over 25 years in the field of education as a NYC public school teacher, child-care program director, coach, and adjunct instructor at Bank Street College and Pacific Oaks College in CA. Starr holds a bachelor of science degree in business administration from SUNY College at Old Westbury and a master degree in early childhood and elementary education from Bank Street College.
