What you'll learn in this culinary (meals) class:

Set sail with the finest sushi in NYC at sunset!

This light dinner sail features most seaworthy cuisine: renowned NYC sushi from Iron Chef Morimoto and cool, refreshing assorted sake, served on the decks of New York's newest and most elegant schooner: America 2.0!

The menu includes a sushi sampling of nine sushi pieces and one roll served in two platings and paired with 4 sake flights! Classic Harbor Line and Morimoto have taken special steps to ensure the sushi is served in the freshest means possible for this event: It is prepared just minutes before boarding, stored in special coolers and served within the first hour of your sail.

Some illuminated views along the way will include:
  • The New York City skyline
  • Battery Park, a 20 -acre park at the southern tip of Manhattan, where artillery has been stationed over the centuries
  • Ellis Island, the immigrant doorway to America from 1892 to 1954
  • The Statue of Liberty - The most famous icon of New York Harbor!
Assorted cold sakes (including an organic Junmai Ginjo and a sparkling sake), champagne, wine, beer and soda will be provided. (One quick note: We will serve a few rounds, but it is not an unlimited booze-cruise. We aim to create an elegant, relaxing, peaceful, and safe experience for all of our guests.)

Meeting Location
Chelsea Piers (Pier 62) - W. 22nd and Hudson River (Manhattan, NY)
(Exact meeting location details will be provided immediately upon purchase of tickets.)

While the cruise is mainly a social cruise, it will have a light commentary on the highlights along the way.

School Notes: For your security, at check-in, you are required to present a valid photo identification that must be identical to the contact name listed on your booking.

Still have questions? Ask the community.

Refund Policy
There are no refunds provided. Refunds will only be provided if we have to cancel the cruise/class.

We are always happy to honor reschedule requests if they are made 72 hour in advance of departure time.

Morimoto Sushi & Sake Sunset Sail on America 2.0
Reviewed by Anonymous on 7/26/2017
The sail was cancelled 3 1/2 hours before it was to start due to inclement weather. By the way, there were no thunderstorms during the time of sail! Unfortunately, I had already reserved a hotel room for the night in NYC which I could not cancel. If there is concern about the weather, an earlier cancellation in the day would be more appropriate to allow those that have made hotel accommodations to change plans appropriately.
