Great conversation, instruction, and company!
Class instructor and attendees were great. The menu could have obtained recipes with Indian spices. I was looking forward to learning how to cook with Indian spices and was disappointed.
Wonderful class. Interesting and tasty food choices. The teachers were patient and informative. Loved this class!!
The instructor was amazing and I truly enjoyed the class.
The chef was lost and confused and gave out 15 different dishes for 8 people to split them up and prepare. It was just a mess of people hollering at him trying to figure out what they are doing. Almost all the dishes were burnt black. This I believe was his second class. I will not be returning to these classes as I was looking for a professional to fill in the gaps that I am missing, and that didn't turn out to be that way.
So many recipes for one evening! Loved the menu and the healthy cooking tips
Chef Jay teaches much more than the techniques and skills needed to cook. He helps you fall in love with the spices and vegetables through his enthusiasm for the way they smell, feel and taste! He is very patient and creates an environment where everyone wants to work together to make the meal successful. I learned a lot as well as really enjoyed the evening!
The teacher Was precise, and articulate. And her helpers were truly a delight. Sincerely Elba
I felt that there needed to be more on knife skills and less on building a recipe. I expected to have more (and larger) vegetables to practice on. While the recipe part was nice, we spent over 45 minutes making poached eggs and hollandaise which took away from the knife skills portion of the class. The instructor was good, great personality and very friendly and knowledgeable. More teaching, less schtick would be a good comment.
The class was amazing! Wow ! A wonderful introduction to a vast variety of healthy food ingredients and tasty burger recipes. The class was taught by Chef Jennie, who is a knowledgeable and professional chef. Her mild-mannered, pleasant personality was the perfect compliment to the evening. She guided us through the array of menus , teaching us techniques and interjecting pertinent tips and suggestions to aid us in our cooking skills. Her assistant Jackie was also very supportive and extremely helpful. The foods was delicious ! I really enjoyed the class and am looking forward to making the recipes at home.
