The instructor was clear and went around to everyone and gave good tips. I wasn't expecting the meal at the end of the class, which was great.

I really enjoyed this class. Chef Ken, our instructor was great. Even though the skills taught were fairly basic, I still learned a lot and left with a better understanding how to handle the chefs’s knife.

Loved this class! Highly recommend, especially if you've never taken a cooking class before or have never had proper instruction on how to hold/use a knife. The instructor was excellent and reviewed a number of foundational skills that have made a big difference in how I've cooked since. A major bonus was that everything we chopped in class was made into a delicious meal that we shared at the end. Overall a very fun and useful class!

This class was such a good introduction on how to use a chef's knife! The instructor was knowledgable and patient, and she taught us some great tricks that have already made me feel more confident in the kitchen. If you've ever felt lost trying to follow a recipe (how do I finely chop garlic?) or find that prepping ingredients takes forever, this is the class for you.

Fairly basic and on the expensive side but good fun nonetheless

This class was absolutely perfect. The venue is beautiful - Urbani Truffle Lab near Columbus Circle - and the instructor, Chef Ken, was just fantastic. We had 5 students of VERY different levels of ability and confidence, and Ken was able to provide personalized coaching for each of us. The menu was absolutely perfect for a summer day (the watermelon and tomato caprese salad was sublime), and we all had a blast honing our knife skills with a mirepoix for the bucatini bolognese. I plan to recommend this to several friends who enjoy cooking and learning, and my party of three left the class full, happy, and excited to put our new skills to use at home.
