What you'll learn in this candle making class:

Classes are back! 8 students or less, hand washing station and sanitizer available. We ask all students to keep in compliance with face coverings, let's stay safe and have some fun together!

A class that offers not only candle making but also the art of cutting a glass wine bottle for your vessel! Join Chicago Candle Company and choose from one of our upcycled wine bottles or bring your favorite bottle from home and we will show you how easy it is to repurpose it into something amazing. This is the perfect girls' night, date night or team-building experience!

We will be covering introductory glass cutting and hand pouring of each candle with soy wax. Choose from different cocktail scents such as Barrel-Aged Bourbon, Old Fashioned Cocktail or Whiskey & Sweet Tobacco! Have fun learning something new and feel great that you will be taking home a premium soy candle without that high-end price tag.

How to find us

Enter and/or park on Carpenter (parking is safe and free) and then walk in where it says "ENTRANCE TO COURTYARD" off Carpenter. You will see a big loading dock area, go up the wood stairs and there is a glass door on the RIGHT corner- you will enter there. Code for the door is *1079 and come up to the 4th floor, hang a right and walk all the way down. You will smell candles...follow your nose! ;)

What to Bring

Optional:  A wine bottle if you have a favorite or empty one laying around. We do provide them as well. Feel free to BYOB. We have wine glasses!

This small family owned candle making company distributes their beautiful candles Nation-wide. Each glass container and candle is crafted by hand and yet, they find the time to share their mastery with us. So generous!! The class was perfect, I learned a lot and am inspired to make my own candles at home.
