What you'll learn in this kids camp class:

This summer, creative fun is coming to Edgewater! Aartwerk Studio is looking forward to making new friends. Covertly didactic, our weeks will be filled with art, fun, and relaxation!

How Will We Be Spending Our Days?
  • Creatively! We will paint, draw and make. We will be working on multiple projects: some will be shorter and completed the same day, while others will be more intricate, and stretch through the week. With every project, kids will learn about art, artists, art movements (and more), and take home their masterpieces, knowledge and fun memories!

  • We will take a fifteen minute snack-and-play break every hour and a half, during which we will move to our play area. Depending on the group's dynamic, this will involve music and light physical activity (such as stretching, dancing and games).

  • At noon, we will take a break for lunch and a story (kids should bring their own lunch—please, no nuts!).
  • At the end of the week, we will have an exhibition of the children's work, during which they will share their thoughts and feelings about each-others' artwork. We will also talk about things we learned during the week, and give away diplomas for the work done!
Please note: All supplies are included.
