What you'll learn in this tango class:

Argentine Tango is a partner dance that developed over the last century in Argentina’s capital city, Buenos Aires. It is very different from the Tango in International and American ballroom dancing.
Argentine Tango is an interpretive, improvisational social dance that allows the dancers to develop a deep connection between themselves, the music, and the environment in which they are dancing.

There are several styles of Argentine Tango, some of which are described below, and different types of Tango danced at milongas or social dances (Milonga is both – a social dance, and a type of Tango dancing). In addition, modern forms of Tango such as Tango Nuevo and Neo-Tango have also emerged and are fast becoming popular in dance cafes and halls around the world.

Notes:
Wear whatever you feel comfortable dancing in! We encourage you to wear smooth-soled shoes that aren’t too heavy.

Partners are not necessary, as we rotate partners in the class. If you bring a partner and prefer not to rotate, you are absolutely invited to do so.Pop in when you can, or join us multiple weeks in a row and be ready for any style the DJ throws your way.

Refund Policy

Cancellations / Changes received 6 business days or more before the start of the first class are eligible for a refund less 5% cancellation fee or credit towards future group classes or private lessons.
Cancellations / Changes received between 3 and 6 business days before the start of the first class are eligible for credit only. The credit will equal the full amount paid by the student and will be redeemable for future group classes or private lessons.
Cancellations / Changes received within 3 business days before the start of the first class will receive a credit redeemable towards future group classes or private lessons minus a $15/person cancellation fee.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
