Printmaking/Monoprint

Printmaking session of 5 classes, 3 hours each. Students invited to use etching press and oil based inks to create monoprints and mixed medium work on paper. Work in etching / dry point, relief, linocut, wood cut and solar plate will be covered. No experience in printmaking is necessary. Inks and printmaking tools will be provided. Bring your paper and plates.

Experimental Felt/Book I
Wet felting techniques, nuno felting (laminating wool on silk), experimenting and printing on hand made felt, incorporating stitching, leather details 2 dimensional and 3 dimensional outcomes. Note: Supply fees vary depending on project size. Students are welcome to bring their own supplies.
3D Wet Felting for beginners
Three dimension resist felting technique will be covered and explained. This is project orientated 3 hours workshop and students will make a sample .
Nuno Felting Advanced Workshop - Garment
In this Nuno wet felting 2 day workshop students will be working on project (making garment/skirt). They will further improve nuno felting techniques, also design methods and embellishing principals will be covered.

Abstract Oil Painting I
This is first abstract oil painting class for students who have some basic knowledge of oil paint, materials and methods. Students are encouraged to sign for a block of 5 classes.
Nuno Felted Scarf Project
This is a six hour workshop for students who is interested in creating one of a kind silk and merino wool scarf. Note: Beginners class on Nuno felting is required .
Net (easy-breezy) Scarf Project
This 6 hours first workshop is for intermediate students who completed beginners class in wet felting. At the end of the workshop Easy-breezy scarf will be made.
Wet Felting Project / Scarf
This 6 hours first workshop is for intermediate students who completed beginners class in wet felting. During the 6 hours students will learn how to work with size, select design options and finishes. At the end of the workshop unique, one of a kind scarf will be made.
