Nima Taradji

Nima Taradji was born in Iran, grew up in France, and then moved to the United States where he attended college in Texas. After graduation he moved to California and began work as a commercial photographer and a master B&W printer. He now resides in Chicago, Illinois.

Nima retired as an attorney in 2015, and decided to return to photography professionally. Currently, as a documentary photographer he pay particular attention to the cultural, social and political landscape of our society and photograph issues he finds important. Nima sees his camera as a tool that gives him an excuse to go places, see people and to explore the world and learn about its people and issues with which he is unfamiliar.
